Facing Fear is a documentary web series written and directed by Tomer Levin, a former combatant in the Duvdevan Unit, embarking on a journey of self-exploration.
The series is broadcast on KAN Digital's YouTube channel, Channel 11 on television, and the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation's website. In 2023, the series was announced as a nominee for the Documentary Forum Prize in Israel in the documentary series category.
Comprising four short episodes, each delves into Tomer's personal process of discovery and self-investigation regarding his ways of coping and overcoming the fear and trauma he experienced.

Skydiving

Tomer takes off from the peak of Monte Baldo above Lake Garda as part of an emergency situations course in skydiving. At the summit, Tomer experiences a panic attack that brings him back to his combat service. A Night in Snowy Mount Hermon

In the final episode of the series, Tomer joins senior alpinist guide Tomer Mor as they climb Mount Hermon after the "Barbara" storm blankets it in snow. They spend the night in a snow cave, and the next day they snowboard back down. Throughout the episode, Tomer attempts to answer the question that haunts him: is he condemned to live between emptiness and the peak thrill in order to feel alive?
